@CK – L2P was organised by SPHere Exhibits and SCOGA and Asiasoft held their annual game fest there as an anchor partner. You pointed out a very good fact : The sad fact is that many parents do not know that their children are spending a lot of pocket money on in-game vanity items and virtual marriages and were cheated of their money when their kids’ accounts were hacked.

Coz one of L2P’s goals was to bring awareness and in time educate parents on gaming so as to bridge the digital divide at home. We conducted a series of workshops @ Room 307 and one of them was on online family safety and although only 20+ interested parents turn up, I’m personally very sure they took away a lot from it as I attended the workshop myself. We hope to increase the role of such educational aspects in L2P over time. As it is, it’s our first year and we have much to learn. Thanks for your support.
