It is like two different cultures clashing together. Oracle seems to have a militaristic suit-wearing culture while Sun is more wear-jeans-to-work and relaxed. My thinking is that Oracle will axe a lot of Sun staff with this merger. Look what the Zergs did do Sarah Kerrigan. Oracle and Sun are strange bedfellows. This has indeed been a labour of love - less labour, mostly love - since we decided a year ago to simply set up a site to write about stuff we geeks loved. It all started because we had so much to say about the technology around us - whether this be Wi-Fi or hi-fi, LCD or LED TV - that we just needed a space to share. Am grateful to all readers for spending time here (we'll have some more goodies for you soon!) For me, it's been a joy writing about stuff we love, and actually getting read by thousands.
