Dell Venue arrives in Singapore through StarHub and M1

If you’ve been lusting over the smooth, curved Gorilla Glass screen and sleek exterior of the Dell Venue smartphone, it’s here finally. The Android 2.2 smartphone – which feels a bit 2010, to be honest – has hit stores here in Singapore with a recommended retail price of S$738. The phone will also be available through telcos StarHub and M1.

Motorola Milestone 2 hits Singapore stores

The Motorola Milestone 2, a new iteration of the popular Milestone (and the Milestone XT720) smartphone, is now available for purchase in Singapore from all three telecom operators at a recommended retail price of S$698. So what’s different this time round?

HTC Singapore has just said it would be sending an Android 2.2 (Froyo) update over the air to users of its mid-end Wildfire and Legend phones, which were launched last year as part of its Android lineup.

Moto Milestone to get Android 2.2 only in Q1 2011

Bad news for users of Motorola Milestone here in Asia-Pacific.

While American owners of the popular Droid – a CDMA version of the GSM Milestone – are already getting Android 2.2 updates, users here will have to wait until early next year to get the OS update that gives them speedier operation and Flash support, among other goodies.
