Comedy Central Asia - Anger Management

If there’s one good thing about pay-TV competition in Singapore, it’s that both SingTel and StarHub show almost all channels for free during holidays, like this New Year weekend.

StarHub says it’s offering more than 150 channels free from noon on December 28 to noon on January 2. These include Comedy Central Asia, iConcerts which is showing Sting in concert over the weekend, and Fox Movies Premium, which is showing part one of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

What are not free are its on-demand channels as well as Cinemax and unfortunately, HBO, among a few others.

What’s SingTel offering for its mio TV? Almost all its 120 channels, except for the sports channels, video-on-demand and fashionTV. The rest, including new Fox channels that it recently acquired, will be free to watch from December 28 to January 1.

Happy viewing as we head towards 2013!
