Razer Atrox

Razer has come up with an arcade gaming stick as a companion controller to the Xbox One, which will bring back memories of those times spent in arcades inserting coin after coin to perfect one’s arcade fighting skills.

A successor to original Razer Atrox for Xbox 360, the Atrox for Microsoft’s new console features an “authentic” arcade layout based on the feedback gathered from professional gamers and the Razer community.

The eight tournament-grade buttons and joystick for the controller are provided by Sanwa Denshi, the same manufacturer known for producing premium arcade machine components.

The Atrox’s interchangeable top-plate allows teams and individuals alike to fit their custom logos and artwork. A press of a button offers easy access to the inside of the box for more customisation.

Inside the Atrox, its honeycomb structure allows for easy screw-mounting of internal components. This makes it easier for users to swap in their own personal designs for a unique look and feel.

Dedicated slots inside the controller can be used to store the included alternate bat-top joystick, a 4-metre long detachable screw-lock USB cable and a bundled screwdriver that can be used for easy modification of the controller.

The Atrox will be available worldwide via Razerzone.com starting August 2014 and will retail for US$199.99. More information on local pricing and retail channels will be available towards the end of the month so keep your eyes peeled to our Facebook page for the latest updates!
