Missed the queue to buy an iPad 2 in Singapore last night? Didn’t manage to get your hands on Apple’s much-awaited tablet computer when it hit the stores here?

Well, thanks to our pals at Parallels Software, Techgoondu has not one but two iPad 2s to give away in the next couple of weeks.

Simply tell us one of your Goondu moments (more details here) on our Facebook page and you stand to win a chance to walk away with the tablet device free.

The first iPad 2 will be given out next week, so hurry! Good luck!

I love using Parallels on my daddy’s Mac: some programs from school work only on Windows. Now with Parallels I have the chance to have the best of both worlds.

One of the main reasons to use Parallels is that many applications are still not supported on Mac.

One advantage of running a virtualized computer is that you can run it from different computers. I have successfully installed a virtual image of Windows XP over my NAS and I can run it over the net from anywhere (using fibre) and guess what… it works!

I help a friend maintain his computers at his office. He has a desktop PC and a Macbook Pro running at the same time for different stuff when he’s in the office. I would install Parallel on his Macbook and install Windows and Ubuntu at the same time. Then when he has his back turned, I’d run Ubuntu and imagine the shock on his face when he comes back to his table and shouting for my help when he sees a totally unfamiliar desktop screen on his cool Macbook! Aside from that, I’d help him reduce the clutter on his table by donating his dinosaur PC to charity since he won’t need it anymore. Way cool!!!
