You can now read Techgoondu stories on an e-reader app called NewsLoop, which brings together content from more than 230 Singapore and international brand names such as BBC, Bloomberg and CNet.

Unveiled earlier this week, the app from SingTel gives Apple iPad users an easy way to navigate and read news and lifestyle stories that are formatted for their touch-screen device. With it, users can also view photos as well as videos presented alongside the written articles.

Besides Techgoondu, news from many more well-known local content providers, from big media houses to blogs, are included in the app. These include Channel News Asia, The Online Citizen and Publichouse.sg.

The app runs on the iPad now and is available on the iTunes store for free. There are also plans to bring it to the iPhone and to Android devices, though the release dates are still to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, do check out the app and let us know what you think!
