Singapore payments firm AXS taps SAP to drive regional growth, B2B expansion

Singapore payment provider AXS has tapped on Grow with SAP – an agile enterprise resources planning (ERP) platform – it implemented in just three months to streamline operations and set itself for regional growth and business-to-business (B2B) expansion.

Announced at the recent SAP Now AI Tour Southeast Asia, the partnership equips AXS with a unified, cloud-based ERP platform designed to modernise its core operations across finance, procurement, sales, and asset management. The effort is part of the company’s pivot toward business-focused solutions and expansion beyond Singapore.

“As we looked to expand beyond Singapore, we recognised the opportunity to modernise our legacy systems, which were instrumental in getting us to where we are, and to take us to our next phase of growth,” said Jeffrey Goh, group chief executive and co-founder of AXS.

Grow with SAP is expected to help AXS be more agile and scale more quickly. It does so by streamlining operations to enhance team productivity and overcome existing operational bottlenecks.

Launched in 2023 for fast-growing companies, Grow with SAP aims to enable companies to rapidly digitalise through a standardised framework and templates, and preconfigured processes.

AXS implemented the platform in three months, by working with SAP partner Nirvasoft. During the transition, AXS ran its legacy systems in parallel with the new platform.

Now, AXS has a unified ERP platform that supports finance, sales, procurement, and asset management, replacing the previously disconnected systems.

Since the rollout, AXS teams now work on a single source of truth, with access to real-time visibility into operations and financials. This reduces manual processes and speeds up decision-making. Procurement and budget approval processes are more efficient, and the finance team has real-time visibility, without having to wait to month-end.

With this digital foundation, AXS says it is better equipped to roll out other solutions, such as AI-driven finance tools and deliver new B2B payment solutions.

To further its finance modernisation efforts, AXS is preparing to integrate Singapore’s InvoiceNow system and document compliance reporting with its ERP platform.

It is also planning to adopt SAP Business AI tools, and is exploring how automation and intelligent insights could support faster processing, reduce manual work, and improve forecasting.

Eileen Chua, managing director for SAP Singapore, cited AXS is an example of how “forward-thinking companies are embracing intelligent, cloud-based platforms to become more competitive.”
