Looking for a cheap hard disk drive to store all your pix? Waiting to pounce on a good deal for that 42-inch plasma or portable laptop? This week’s the week to jostle with the crowd at PC Show at Suntec City.

If there’s something to go by, the last tech show here – IT Show in March – saw the best deal then for a 1TB hard disk. It was $199 for a WD external HDD. Sure enough, it was snapped up.

Look out for more bargains this week too.

yeah, the mininote is something. the processor is sluggish as is the video card, but then again, this little wonder, which i am typing on right now, does what it does best – web surfing and typing stuff on blogs, reports, e-mail etc.

what it can do is have a little more juice though. battery runs flat in less than 2 hours with wi-fi turned on… hmmm.

These terabyte drives are amazing. I have been waiting for quite some time for the storage to copy all my home videos onto a media center of some type. I just purchased the Samsung F1 and have installed it. I highly recommend the drive. I have transferred 800GB of home movies so far. The price is amazing. Not as good as you got, but still amazing.
