Not sure what in God’s name he was thinking, but a Korean geek has sang his way to YouTube fame by er, going out of tune with a Mariah Carey song.

According to the Viral Video Chart, this clip peaked about two weeks ago. But still, if you haven’t seen this, I’m sure it’d rank up there with the MDA rap video and William Hung.

Since we’re on the topic of viral videos…

Spotted the video Dancing (aka Where the hell is Matt) on the Viral Video Chart, about a guy dancing badly around the world. Surprised that it’s still there, as the video is about 2 years old.

It’s still a great inspirational video though (and this is NOT a snarky comment) and I loved it when I saw it a year or so back.

More interesting is that there’s a new 2008 update that was released in June this year!

    Dear Mr Siew,

thank you for broaching — nay, touching on — a serious topic about dangers of new media : )

I may be singing the same ole tune, but I reckon this is off the charts.

I would like to share this video of someone I like to think of as my spiritual SingStar sibling.

I’m not sure if he is Korean, but at least he resembles Mariah Carey, if you think of her as a heavyweight singer.

(Disclaimer: Anyone who finds a song that explicitly and repeatedly mentions a stiff and elongated vaguely-phallic object objectionable SHOULD NOT watch this video).
